Since the creation of the first workshop 1931, then of the House in 1972, Mathon Paris is a family history told through four generations. Installed a few steps from le Jardin du Palais Royal, the House masters all crafts of jewelry, from creation to manufacturing.

Maison Mathon is committed to the environment by implementing best practices in sustainability throughout the manufacturing of your jewelry: traceability of precious stones, recycled gold, and natural diamonds. In 2012, the company was certified by the RJC label, testifying to its strong commitment to sustainable development.

In the privacy of our salon, we develop a project that reflects your understated or extravagant sensitivity, working from an inspiration, a pencil stroke, a stone or a piece of antique jewellery.

Our universes

Mathon Paris jewellery, a dual signature: nature and colour.

Imagination and sensitivity permeate the Mathon family’s creative approach, guided by a keen sense of aesthetics, nurtured by French culture, the Parisian environment and the family’s country roots. Among the founding themes of Maison Mathon, Grenouille rings rub shoulders with a Nénuphar pendant, a Tortue brooch meets a Coccinelle ring. From the beginning, Roger Mathon created a whole collection of small animal-talismans, reflecting his poetic universe.

This historical House collection, Bestioles shows the insects and small animals that populate the edge of the « Vergers », the family home, near the Loiret. There, in the grass, at the edge of the water, fly dragonflies and butterflies, whose graceful ballet is an invitation to dream. Treated with humour, sometimes irreverently, these critters are representative of the organic style of the House.

For several decades, Mathon Paris tells the Merveilles de la Mer: a bubbling world of seahorses, sea urchins, corals and gorgonians. As in the Odyssey, Homeric singing lends its creatures fantastic attributes and magical powers. This collection is an extraordinary expressive song for jewellers and gemsetters.

Emblematic of the Maison’s naturalist style, the Florilège collection consists of a large bouquet of flowers picked from gardens and fields. This floral line expresses sculptural forms through corollas and petals. It highlights a vast range of coloured stones. Our jewellers have given an exuberant and elegant aesthetic to these designs, veering between luxury and simplicity.

The architectural Passages theme completes the fundamentals of the Maison. The journey began in New York with the Manhattan collection created in 2007 by Catherine Mathon. It continues in Paris with the Passages collection.

The Intemporelles collection of Mathon Paris is a line of jewellery pieces, constituted over seasons and years. Vintage pieces rub shoulders with small contemporary pieces. Challenging the trends, discreet but elegant, these colourful jewellery pieces can be combined, worn in multiple layers and on a daily basis.
